Security and Privacy
Security isn't optional, it's the foundation of trust
In a hyperconnected world, protecting communications, data and access is an absolute priority. We help you do it in a way that's simple, scalable and compliant.
From the VoIP PBX to the WiFi network, all the way to your customers' data: every layer is protected from the architecture up, in full compliance with GDPR.
The invisible threats that put businesses at risk every day
Today, every interaction is a potential entry point for attacks, breaches or compliance gaps.
Voice communications, the WiFi network and customer data are among the most exposed targets, because they run through every business process and involve everyone who connects.
Here are the areas most at risk:
Unencrypted communications, easy to intercept
WiFi networks that are vulnerable or non-compliant with GDPR
Lack of control over external servers or third parties
Fragile infrastructure that breaks down at critical moments
Where to focus: voice, WiFi network and data
The security of corporate communications plays out on three levels. The first is voice: VoIP calls travel over the IP network and need to be protected with traffic encryption, a Session Border Controller (SBC) and a firewall defending the PBX, along with strong authentication for administrative access and logging and auditing of every activity. The second is the WiFi network: the guest network must stay separate from the corporate one, with access protected by WPA3 and Passpoint. The third is data: every piece of information collected, from the WiFi login to customer data, needs to be handled with clear consent and GDPR-compliant processing.
Protected communications and networks, always, everywhere.
Protecting isn't just defending. It's guaranteeing continuity, respect and resilience. Our solutions put security at the center of connectivity and collaboration, with no added complication for the user.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) about business communication
We've collected the answers to our users' most frequently asked questions here.
Can VoIP PBX calls be intercepted?
VoIP calls travel over the IP network and, if unprotected, can be exposed. That's why the Voi-Smart PBX protects signaling and voice traffic with encryption, pairs the PBX with an integra-ted SBC and firewall, and requires two-factor authentication for administrative access, with logging and auditing of every activity.
Is access via the captive portal secure?
Yes, if the guest network is designed correctly. The guest network stays separate from the cor-porate one, access happens through authentication (social login, SMS, email or a Passpoint pro-file), and the data collected is handled transparently and in compliance with GDPR. This is the approach behind VoiSmart's inPiazza captive portal.
What is the WPA3 protocol, and why does it make WiFi more secure?
WPA3 is the latest authentication protocol for WiFi networks. It protects the network login phase and makes credential attacks harder, which is why it's the foundation of a secure corpora-te WiFi network, together with two-factor authentication.
How do you make WiFi data collection GDPR-compliant?
Data collection from connecting users needs to be transparent: a privacy notice accessible at the moment of login, explicit consent for marketing use, and protection of the information collected. VoiSmart's WiFi solutions build these requirements into the captive portal.
