VoiSmart announces the acquisition of a 70% stake by TIM Enterprise
VoiSmart announces that TIM Enterprise, the TIM Group business unit dedicated to large enterprises, public administrations and strategic sectors, is acquiring 70% of its share capital.
For VoiSmart, an Italian company based in Milan with over twenty years of experience in telecommunications, a new phase begins. Its proprietary solutions for unified and omnichannel communications, WiFi customer engagement and artificial intelligence can now draw on the industrial strength and market presence of TIM Enterprise.
Who leads VoiSmart
Biagio Passaro, previously sole director, becomes the new Chief Executive Officer and remains a minority shareholder, together with the main previous shareholders. Continuity in leadership accompanies this new phase.
Why the transaction matters
For TIM Enterprise, VoiSmart brings in-house technologies that the Group can now govern directly across four areas: VoIP, omnichannel, collaboration and artificial intelligence. This means less dependence on third-party technologies and, for customers, more complete control over their communication platforms, data and processes. It is one of the ways in which the digital sovereignty of businesses and public administrations is built.
On the innovation front, the integration will help accelerate new cloud and AI solutions and bring connectivity, voice, collaboration and customer engagement closer together.
